Brief introduction of public and political life


Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya became RSS Swayamsewak in year 1973. He took part in Sampoorn Kranti Andolan of Shri Jaiprakash Narayan in 1974. From 1973 to 1982 he was City President of ABVP. Member of National Executive Committee of ABVP. From 1983 to 1997 National President of VHP and Bajrang Dal from 1995. Shri Pawaiya was imprisoned for 13 days during Ram Janambhumi Andolan. He led 50 thousand youths' march in Kashmir in protest against terrorists' threat to stop Amarnath Yatra and undertook Padyatra for Gauraksha Andolan in 1996. He was elected member of 13th Lok Sabha in 1999. Organised Veerangana Laxmi Bai Balidan Mela, Gwalior and instituted National "Veerangana Samman" in year 2000. Writing poetry since year 1970. Delivered lecture in Hindi in Chili (South America) under International Parliamentary Federation.

In year 2013, he was elected member of Vidhan Sabha for the first time.

Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya was inducted as Cabinet Minister on June 30, 2016 in the cabinet of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
